APV, now part of SPX FLOW, is one of the oldest and most widely used names in plate heat exchanger technology, tracing back to the original ParaFlow design developed by founder Dr. Richard Seligman. APV plate heat exchangers are used across food and beverage, dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical, chemical, and general industrial applications worldwide, spanning gasketed, double-wall DuoSafety, and welded-plate-pair ParaWeld construction.

SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry, plate corrugation, and gasket groove profile used across APV's SR, R, TR/LR/LD, N, Q, J, K, and B series, so units already installed in your plant can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.

Our APV-compatible plates are available in AISI 304/316/316L/317L, 254SMO, 654SMO, 904L, Nickel 201, Titanium Gr.1, Titanium-Palladium, and Hastelloy, matching the extensive material range APV itself offers. Gaskets are supplied in EPDM, NBR, HNBR, and FKM (Viton). Every plate and gasket is dimensionally checked and pressure-tested before dispatch, giving plant engineers and procurement teams a reliable, drop-in alternative to OEM lead times.

SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets compatible with APV ParaFlow plate heat exchangers, pressed on tooling matched to original port position, plate corrugation, and gasket groove geometry across the full APV model range. Because each plate replicates the original clamping dimension and port layout, it seats correctly on the carrying and guiding bars of your existing frame and holds the correct plate pack tightening dimension without requiring any modification to the frame or tightening bolts.

APV offers one of the widest plate ranges in the industry, with roughly 34 different plate corrugation patterns and 60 different plate sizes across its full catalogue, and single frames capable of housing several hundred plates. SRJ tooling reproduces the specific corrugation pattern and pass arrangement for each APV series and model, so a replacement plate preserves the pressure drop and heat transfer performance the unit was originally designed to deliver, whatever the flow passage configuration.

For applications requiring absolute separation between the two heat-exchange fluids, APV DuoSafety double-wall plate design provides an early-warning leak-detection system, using two layers of plate per flow plate so any fluid from a leak drains to atmosphere rather than mixing with the second fluid. SRJ can manufacture matching DuoSafety-compatible double-wall plates for units built on this design.

For aggressive media that would otherwise attack conventional gaskets, APV also offers ParaWeld welded-plate-pair technology used in ranges such as LR2, LR4, LR9, B063, B110, B134, B158, B205, LX2, and LX9. SRJ can advise on compatible replacement approaches for these welded-pair configurations.

SRJ's in-house Noida facility allows APV-compatible plates and gaskets to be manufactured to order, supporting both current SPX Flow APV installations and older independently branded APV units where genuine OEM spares may involve longer import lead times. Every production batch is backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality process, including dimensional and flatness checks on plates, groove-fit verification on gaskets, and pressure testing of assembled plate packs on request.
