GEA (through its GEA PHE Systems / EcoFlex range) is a major global manufacturer of gasketed plate heat exchangers, used extensively across HVAC, refrigeration, marine, power generation, dairy and food, and chemical processing industries. SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry, plate corrugation, and gasket groove profile used across GEA's EcoFlex NT, VT, NX, NA, and LWC series, so units already installed in your plant can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.
Our GEA-compatible plates are produced in AISI 304, AISI 316/316L, and Titanium, matching the grades used across the GEA EcoFlex range, and gaskets are supplied in NBR, EPDM, HNBR, and Viton (FKM) compounds depending on your process fluid and operating temperature. Every plate and gasket is dimensionally checked and pressure-tested before dispatch, giving plant engineers and procurement teams a reliable, drop-in alternative to OEM lead times.
SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets compatible with GEA plate heat exchangers, pressed on tooling matched to original port position, plate corrugation angle, and gasket groove geometry across GEA's EcoFlex NT, VT, NX, NA, and LWC series. Because each plate replicates the original clamping and port dimensions, it seats correctly on the carrying bar and guiding bar of your existing frame and holds the correct plate pack length, without requiring any modification to the frame, tightening bolts, or support column.
The GEA EcoFlex NT series uses an optimised plate design intended to deliver the same thermal capacity with less heat transfer surface area than older-generation plates, helping reduce footprint and investment cost. The GEA EcoFlex VT (Varitherm) series is built for flexibility across a wide range of media, offered in materials including AISI 304, nickel-based alloys, Incoloy, nickel, tantalum, and titanium, making it a common choice where fiber-free liquids with small particulates are involved. The GEA EcoFlex NX series is based on NT plate technology but developed specifically for high-performance district cooling and remote cooling systems requiring minimal temperature differentials and high pressure resistance, while the NA series is independently certified under the AHRI 400 program for HVAC duty. GEA's LWC (laser-welded cassette) series uses plates that are laser-welded together and gasketed only around the flow opening, intended for critical or highly corrosive media where conventional full gaskets are unsuitable.
SRJ's tooling reproduces the flow-distribution features found across the GEA EcoFlex plate range, so replacement plates preserve the intended pressure drop and heat transfer performance rather than compromising it with an approximate profile. Where a unit uses a self-aligning plate-pack feature or a clip-style adhesive-free gasket system, SRJ manufactures plates and gaskets to the matching groove and alignment geometry, so reassembly during routine maintenance remains straightforward for your maintenance team.
Plate material selection follows the same options used in genuine GEA units: AISI 304 for standard, lower-corrosion HVAC-type duties (commonly 0.4mm thickness); AISI 316/316L for the majority of general industrial and process applications (typically 0.4mm to 0.8mm thickness); and Titanium for units handling aggressive chemicals, chlorides, seawater, or chlorinated media (typically 0.5mm to 0.6mm thickness). Gaskets are supplied in NBR for oils, greases, and hydrocarbon-based fluids; EPDM for water, food-grade duties, and oxidising chemicals; HNBR where standard NBR would swell or where higher temperatures up to around 150°C are involved; and Viton (FKM) for high-temperature steam, acids, and aggressive hydrocarbon media.
SRJ's in-house Noida facility allows GEA-compatible plates and gaskets to be manufactured to order, supporting both current EcoFlex NT/VT/NX/NA/LWC installations and older GEA units where OEM spares may involve longer import lead times. Every production batch is backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality process - dimensional and flatness checks on plates, groove-fit verification on gaskets, and pressure testing of assembled plate packs on request - giving your procurement team a documented basis for approving non-OEM GEA-compatible parts.
