Danfoss is a major global manufacturer of brazed, semi-welded, and gasketed plate heat exchangers, serving district heating and cooling, HVAC, refrigeration, marine, food & beverage, and general industrial applications. Danfoss's gasketed plate heat exchanger range is built on its SONDEX® standard plate technology, while its brazed range includes the XB and SL series for district heating/cooling and the newer Micro Plate™ series for heat pumps, chillers, and CO2 transcritical systems. SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry and plate corrugation used across Danfoss's gasketed plate heat exchanger range, so units already installed in your plant can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.

Our Danfoss-compatible gasketed plates are available in AISI 304/316, Titanium, SMO, and Hastelloy, matching the material grades used across Danfoss's standard plate heat exchanger range, and gaskets are supplied in NBR, EPDM, and Viton (FKM) compounds depending on your process fluid and operating temperature. Every plate and gasket is dimensionally checked and pressure-tested before dispatch, giving plant engineers and procurement teams a dependable, drop-in alternative to OEM lead times.

SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets compatible with Danfoss gasketed plate heat exchangers, pressed on tooling matched to original port position, plate corrugation, and gasket groove profile. Because each plate replicates the original clamping dimension and port layout, it seats correctly on the carrying and guiding bars of your existing frame and holds the correct plate pack length, without requiring any modification to the frame, tightening bolts, or support column.

Danfoss's standard gasketed plate heat exchanger range is built around SONDEX® Fishbone plate pattern technology, used across the majority of its plate portfolio to maximise heat transfer while keeping pressure drop low. These units are widely used in HVAC (district cooling using seawater or groundwater, district heating using solar or geothermal sources), marine and offshore central/lubrication oil cooling, dairy/food/beverage pasteurisation and heat recovery, and chemical industry waste-heat recovery. SRJ's tooling reproduces this Fishbone corrugation pattern precisely, so a replacement plate does not compromise the pressure drop or heat transfer performance the unit was originally designed to deliver, and continues to support single-pass configurations wherever the original design used them.

Material selection for Danfoss-compatible gasketed plates follows the same grades used in genuine units - AISI 304/316 stainless steel for standard duties, and Titanium, SMO, or Hastelloy for units handling more aggressive, high-chloride, or corrosive process media. Frames on Danfoss gasketed units are typically designed to FEA and PED 2014/68/EU (EN13445) or ASME Section VIII, Div. 1 construction standards, and SRJ's replacement plates are manufactured to match the corresponding port, thickness, and groove tolerances so unit integrity and compliance are preserved after re-plating.

For plants running Danfoss's brazed range - including the XB series (used widely in district heating and cooling applications, available in sizes such as XB04 through XB70), the SL series, and newer Micro Plate™ technology units (including dimple-pattern Z-design evaporators and CO2 transcritical models) - SRJ can advise on full brazed cassette replacement where individual plate service is not applicable, since brazed construction does not use serviceable gaskets between plates.

Gaskets for Danfoss gasketed units are supplied in NBR for oils and hydrocarbon-based media, EPDM for water and general process duties, and Viton (FKM) for higher-temperature or chemically aggressive conditions, in clip-fit or glued formats matching your original plate's fixing method.

SRJ's in-house Noida facility allows Danfoss-compatible plates and gaskets to be manufactured to order, supporting both current gasketed installations and older Danfoss (or legacy Sondex-branded) units where OEM spares may involve longer import lead times.
