Polaris Plate Heat Exchangers is a US-based manufacturer known for its gasketed, brazed, semi-welded, shell-and-plate, all-welded, and wide-gap plate heat exchanger ranges, widely used across HVAC, industrial process, pharmaceutical, chemical, and food processing applications, with many models independently AHRI-certified for verified performance. SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry, herringbone plate corrugation, and gasket groove profile used across the Polaris S-series gasketed range, so units already installed in your plant can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.

Our Polaris-compatible plates are available in SS304 and SS316 stainless steel, matching the material grades used across the Polaris range, and gaskets are supplied in NBR, EPDM, and Viton (FKM) compounds depending on your process fluid, pressure, and operating temperature. Every plate and gasket is dimensionally checked and pressure-tested before dispatch, giving plant engineers and procurement teams a dependable, drop-in alternative to import lead times.

SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets compatible with Polaris plate heat exchangers, pressed on tooling matched to original port position, herringbone plate pattern, and gasket groove geometry, across Polaris's gasketed plate-and-frame series identified by model codes such as S64, S7, and SI9 class units. Because each plate replicates the original clamping dimension and port layout, it seats correctly on the carrying and guiding bars of your existing frame and holds the correct plate pack length, without requiring any modification to the compression bolts, frame, or support column.

Polaris plate heat exchangers are built around a countercurrent flow design, using individually gasketed media circuits with a vented area between channels - a design feature intended to prevent cross-contamination between the two media in the event of a gasket failure, since any leak vents to atmosphere rather than mixing with the process fluid. Polaris also offers a Safety-Pair® double-wall configuration, where paired plates create an air gap that makes any leak visible from outside the unit; SRJ can manufacture double-wall compatible plates to the same paired-plate geometry for applications where plumbing codes or process safety requirements call for double-wall separation.

For plants running Polaris semi-welded units - commonly used in ammonia refrigeration, CFC/HCFC systems, and other aggressive process fluid duties - SRJ can manufacture compatible welded plate cassettes matched to the original port and pack dimensions, so the isolated refrigerant or process side of the unit is preserved while the gasketed side continues to use replaceable gaskets for routine maintenance. For units handling viscous or fibrous media, SRJ also supports wide-gap plate replacement, produced with the same coarse, horizontal-ribbed pattern used in Polaris's own wide-gap range to allow free passage of particles without metal-to-metal contact points that could cause blockage.

SRJ's tooling reproduces the flow-turbulence pattern used across the Polaris plate range, which is designed to promote a constant scrubbing action across the plate surface to reduce fouling - so a replacement plate does not compromise the low-fouling, high-turbulence performance the unit was originally designed to deliver. Plates are supplied in SS304 for general duty and SS316 for higher corrosion resistance, matching Polaris's own standard material offering, and gaskets are supplied in NBR for oils and hydrocarbon media, EPDM for water and general process duties, and Viton (FKM) for higher-temperature or more chemically aggressive conditions.

SRJ's in-house Noida facility allows Polaris-compatible plates and gaskets to be manufactured to order, supporting both recently installed units and older Polaris installations where sourcing genuine US-manufactured OEM spares can mean longer import lead times and higher landed costs for plants outside North America.
