Reheat Heat Exchangers
Reheat Heat Exchangers
Compatible replacement plates and gaskets for Reheat plate heat exchangers - same-fit dimensions, copper-brazed and bolted plate options, delivered fast from our Noida facility.
Reheat was a Swedish manufacturer of plate heat exchangers, best known for its copper-brazed plate range and a smaller line of bolted (gasketed) plate-and-frame units, before the brand was acquired by Tranter, a global heat exchange technology company. Reheat units remain in service across HVAC, refrigeration, district heating, and general industrial heating and cooling applications throughout Scandinavia and Europe. SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry and plate corrugation of Reheat's bolted plate-and-frame units, so installations already running Reheat equipment can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.
Our Reheat-compatible plates are available in stainless steel (SS304/316), and gaskets are supplied in NBR, EPDM, and Viton (FKM) compounds depending on your process fluid, temperature, and pressure. Every plate and gasket is dimensionally checked and pressure-tested before dispatch, giving plant engineers and procurement teams a reliable, drop-in alternative to sourcing spares for a legacy brand whose original manufacturer no longer exists as a standalone company.
SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets compatible with Reheat's bolted (gasketed) plate-and-frame heat exchangers, pressed on tooling matched to original port position, plate corrugation, and gasket groove profile. Because each plate replicates the original clamping dimension and port layout, it seats correctly on the carrying and guiding bars of your existing frame and holds the correct plate pack length, without requiring any modification to the frame or tightening bolts.
Since Reheat was acquired by Tranter, sourcing genuine OEM spares for older Reheat-branded units has become increasingly difficult, as parts support has largely transitioned toward Tranter's own current product lines. This is a common challenge for plants running long-serving Scandinavian and European heat exchanger equipment: the original brand no longer manufactures spares independently, but the installed units themselves often remain in good working condition and simply need periodic re-plating or re-gasketing to continue running reliably. SRJ's replacement program is built specifically for this situation - supporting continued operation of Reheat bolted plate-and-frame units through precisely matched, independently manufactured plates and gaskets.
SRJ's tooling reproduces the corrugation pattern and flow-channel geometry used in Reheat's gasketed plate range, so a replacement plate preserves the pressure drop and heat transfer characteristics the unit was originally designed to deliver, rather than approximating them. Gaskets are supplied to match your plate's original fixing method - whether glued or clip-fit - in NBR for oils and hydrocarbon-based media, EPDM for water and general process duties, and Viton (FKM) for higher-temperature or more chemically aggressive conditions.
Because Reheat units were also produced as copper-brazed heat exchangers for HVAC, refrigeration, and chiller applications, plants running these units when facing plate-side damage or performance loss typically need a full brazed cassette replacement rather than an individual plate and gasket, since brazed construction does not use serviceable gaskets. SRJ can advise on the most practical path - full unit replacement, retrofit, or reverse-engineered bolted plate substitution - based on your unit's specific application and condition.
SRJ's in-house Noida facility allows Reheat-compatible plates and gaskets to be manufactured to order from a physical sample or technical drawing where documentation is limited, which is particularly useful for older Reheat installations no longer supported by current Tranter spares channels. Every production batch is backed by our ISO 9001:2015 certified quality process - dimensional and flatness checks on plates, groove-fit verification on gaskets, and pressure testing of assembled plate packs on request - giving your procurement team a documented basis for approving non-OEM Reheat-compatible parts.
Reheat's legacy model documentation is limited following its acquisition by Tranter. Send us your nameplate details or an existing plate sample and we'll confirm compatibility and manufacture to your specific unit's dimensions.
