Vicarb is a French manufacturer of gasketed plate heat exchangers, known for its V-series range used across HVAC, food & beverage (dairy, brewing, juice pasteurisation), refrigeration, and general industrial heat transfer applications. Vicarb also offers a double-wall (DW) plate variant for applications requiring leak-detection separation between fluid circuits. SRJ manufactures replacement plates and gaskets engineered to match the original port geometry and plate corrugation used across the Vicarb V-series, so units already installed in your plant can be re-plated and re-gasketed without any change to the existing frame.

Our Vicarb-compatible plates are available in AISI 304, AISI 316/316L, Titanium, Titanium-Palladium, SMO254, and Hastelloy C-276, matching the material grades used across the Vicarb range, and gaskets are supplied in NBR (Buna), EPDM, and Viton, in clip-on, glue, or ball-type fixing formats matching your original plate's gasket system. For applications requiring absolute separation between the two heat-exchange fluids - such as processes where cross-contamination would be a food-safety or process-safety concern - Vicarb offers a double-wall (V-DW) plate design, available across several V-series sizes (e.g., V4-DW, V13-DW, V20-DW, V45-DW, V60-DW). SRJ can manufacture matching double-wall compatible plates to the same paired-plate geometry, so any leak is directed to the atmosphere between the plate pair rather than mixing the two process fluids.

Gasket fixing on Vicarb units varies by plate generation and application: glue-fixed gaskets are typically used in higher-pressure or higher-temperature applications, clip-on gaskets are used where regular cleaning or plate replacement is expected, and ball-type gaskets are common in HVAC or FDA-regulated applications where easy field removal is required. SRJ manufactures Vicarb-compatible gaskets to match whichever fixing method your existing plates use, in NBR (Buna), EPDM, and Viton compounds, selected according to your process fluid, temperature, and pressure.
